Weding Band SEO Case Study
We started with a full redesign of that Boston wedding band website. The old site had information, but it was slow and outdated.

Rebuilding from scratch made more sense than patching it up.

The new version loads in under half a second on mobile and desktop, which made a big difference for visitors and search engines. We also paid extra attention to mobile usability, since most couples browse on their phones.

Since the old site already had some traffic, we focused on making sure it converted those visitors better. To do that we added:
- A clear, descriptive title in the first block, so people immediately know what the site is about
- Compact navigation that highlights key sections but still makes all other info easy to find
- A step-by-step timeline so prospects understand the process
- Highlights of common problems in the industry, like bands sending random players or booking multiple events in one day, and how Sweet Beats avoids them
- Clear calls-to-action that make booking straightforward
Early Results
The effect was immediate: in the first month, the site generated about 90% more leads than the previous month. In the second month, that number grew by another 20%. By the end of the third month, we had reached 300% of the initial lead volume. Results like these usually take a year, but in this case they appeared within just a few months.

Many of those leads came from people already searching for the band by name, but the site also began ranking for competitive terms like “Wedding Bands Boston.” That was new — even though the band is based in Boston, the old site had never been close to the first page. Boston is one of the toughest wedding band markets in New England. We made it happen by placing the right keywords on the page, adding a proper meta description, and using those terms throughout the content. We also added structured data to help search engines better understand the site and display it more prominently.
Location Pages
The next step was building location pages. Many couples search for wedding bands tied to specific areas in New England — places like Newport, Providence, and Cape Cod.

Since the band is open to traveling, it made sense to target those searches. We created dedicated pages, supported them with backlinks, and the rankings improved quickly. The band now appears in searches for those locations as well, becoming a new source of additional leads.
